For Mom
Dear beloved one,
I know you’re sad
it will turn good after it gets bad.
You have not lost me to Him
But I found you in Him.
You have not lost them with no return
They are yours in Him, you can stop to mourn.
He did not just separate us
but as He separates, thus
It is to unite
What He did was ignite.
As He opens your wounded heart
He mends it together.
He does not tear it apart,
But He keeps it forever.
It seems to you, I’m lost
You have not lost me to Him
But have trust, I’m found.
As I found you in Him.
He saw you all this time
Now I see you, too.
You will see Him, yes you.
You know now it’s time.
Let your pain lead you to the Son
Who can make us all one
Do not have fear, o beloved soul
He came here to make us whole.
So I take my cross and carry it to Him
I hold it tight, as He washes away all the sins
So I lift my head and praise what He has done
