What does it mean to hope?

For by hope we have been saved. But hope that is seen is not hope. For how can we hope for what we see? But if we hope for what we do not see, we endure with patience.
Romans 8:24-26
What does it mean to hope?
To trust, even to insist, that what I don't yet see will come to pass.
To look forward to life.
To look forward to it coming true.
To have joy in patience.
To live in such a way that what I hope for will come to pass.
Even living as if it were already here.
What does it mean on God to hope?
To trust, even to know that He keeps what He promises,
even if I don't see it yet.
To look forward to life.
To His coming in splendor and glory.
To have joy in patience.
To live in the certainty that what He promises will come to pass.
Guaranteed.
Even living as if it were already here, because it is.
Hoping in God means tasting things now - of eternal life, of heaven, of His infinite joy, His love and His peace.
Hoping in God means already having everything.

to have everything already.
